Mother Earth and Father Sky have long featured in dreaming stories and songlines all over this land. I am always in awe of the knowledge held by our old people about the shift in constellations, and what this means for travelling, predicting the weather, and when the change of season is approaching. This artwork illustrates my short time on country and looking to the stars, many of which are no longer visible to us anymore. The stories and knowledge held in the vast expansion of the night sky is truly breathtaking and instills a sense of pride in me to be part of the culture that has kept those stories alive.
