This project delves into the universal nature of learning and community by blending traditional and contemporary elements. The background features a harmonious blend of colours representing both desert and coastal Country, showcasing the diverse landscapes that inform Indigenous knowledge systems.

Circles within the piece represent various forms of community—a team, a family, an organisation—bound together by a common purpose. These circles are interconnected by a dotted black line, symbolising the lifelong learning journey we all undertake, whether through formal education or life experiences.

Three main symbols further articulate this theme. At the centre is the hero piece, representing the modern concept of online learning and collective knowledge-sharing. To the left, a figure holding a message stick signifies the transmission of key messages and knowledge from a central figure or mentor. On the right, two figures sit together, encapsulating the relational aspect of knowledge-sharing through storytelling.

This artwork serves as an evocative reminder that learning and community are inextricably linked, bridging ancient wisdom with modern educational frameworks. It stands as a testament to the timeless and borderless pursuit of knowledge.
